We work directly with businesses that were parties in a lawsuit (plaintiff or defendant) to pursue appellate relief, and with trial lawyers who are reluctant to accept the appeal due to time constraints, location or other conflicts.

We handle appeals arising from our commercial and civil litigation practice such as appealing final judgment in commercial collections or breach of contract cases. We also take on appeals for select clients who were represented by other attorneys at trial. Wells & Cuellar has urged civil appeals before the Texas Courts of Appeals, the Texas Supreme Court and the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, with a number of reported cases. We also handled an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of the Texas Manufactured Housing Association.
