James E. Cuellar, the firm's Vice-President, continues to distinguish himself as a federal and bankruptcy law afficionado. Since his days serving as a Law Clerk with the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in the mid-1980's, through his efforts in the mid-1990's perfecting appeals to the U.S. Supreme Court for the Texas Manufactured Housing Association, up to his present-day involvement in bankruptcy non-dischargeability litigation for our client the National Credit Union Administration, a federal administrative agency, James has always shown an affinity for complex legal issues arising in the realm of federal procedural and substantive jurisprudence. His latest bankruptcy litigation initiatives have included vindicating a federal criminal restitution judgment in favor of one of our newest energy-sector clients as a claim non-dischargeable in the criminal's Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
Christopher P. Craven continues to develop his expertise as a commercial loan workout and foreclosure expert, and has thus recently assisted the firm in expanding its bank representation to five different national banking association clients located in both Texas and Oklahoma.
